Declaration on accessibility for services

As part of our accessibility statement, we would like to give you an overview of the status of the compatibility of the service(s) described below with the accessibility requirements according to legal regulations (in particular with the Accessibility Reinforcement Act – BFSG).

Details of the service provider

DAHER INDUSTRIAL SERVICES GmbH
Hein-Saß-Weg 36
21129 Hamburg

General description of the service

Our careers website provides information about career opportunities, job vacancies, the application process, the working environment and human interaction in our company.

Explanations on the implementation of the service

The aim of our careers website is to provide interested parties with barrier-free access to relevant information about careers with us. The website is aimed at applicants, employees and other interested parties who would like to find out about open positions, our company as an employer and the application process.

As part of our digital recruitment programme, we provide current job advertisements, information on apprenticeships and internships as well as insights into our corporate culture on our careers website. We also offer the opportunity to apply directly online. The content is updated on an ongoing basis and is designed to be transparent and easy to understand – regardless of physical or technical limitations.

We endeavour to design and continuously improve the career homepage in accordance with the applicable regulations on accessibility – in particular the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).

Status of compatibility with the requirements

Our careers homepage is partially compliant with the Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG).

To improve accessibility, we use the ‘OneTap Accessibility’ plugin, which provides functions for increasing contrast, enlarging fonts and improving keyboard operability, among other things. In addition, we regularly check technical accessibility using the Google Lighthouse tool, which generally shows an accessibility score of over 90 per cent on our pages.

Despite all these measures, the following restrictions still apply:

  • Embedded PDF documents may not be fully accessible (e.g. missing tags or reading order).
  • Some interactive elements such as form fields (e.g. in the online application) have limitations in terms of keyboard operability and screen readability.
  • Audiovisual content may not yet be fully subtitled or audio-described.

Barrier-free alternatives

  • Alternatively, contact forms can be used by e-mail.
  • If you have difficulties using individual areas of the website, we offer support by e-mail or telephone.

Non-accessible parts of the service – implementation deadlines

We are working continuously to gradually remove any remaining barriers:

  • PDF documents will be successively revised and made accessible in future.
  • The improvement of keyboard operability and form accessibility is already being implemented and is expected to be completed by the beginning of 2026.
  • New video or audio content is published as early as possible with appropriate subtitles or alternatives.

Preparation of the accessibility statement

Date of preparation of the accessibility statement: 27.05.2025
Date of the last review of the above-mentioned services with regard to accessibility requirements: 01.06.2025

Assessment of the status of accessibility

The assessment of the accessibility status is based on our self-assessment. As part of this assessment, we used various automated testing tools, in particular the Google Lighthouse analysis tool. These tools help us to systematically check key aspects of accessibility – such as alternative texts, keyboard operability and semantic HTML structure. These technical testing procedures provide a good basis for identifying and optimising potential barriers and are used as part of our quality controls.
