DAHER INDUSTRIAL SERVICES GmbH is a member of the DAHER Group and a key player in the aerospace industry. As an industrial services provider, we carry out a wide range of activities. All mechanical, structural, electrical and cabin work on aircraft or aircraft components is carried out on our customers‘ premises. Every day, almost 170 employees from 20 different nations ensure that we achieve our goals and a high level of customer satisfaction. 

We are on the lookout for a pioneering Business Unit Manager (all genders) to spearhead the development of our operations program. This role is not just about managing a project – it is about building it from the ground up. The candidate should be a motivated self-starter who displays a passion for solving problems and interacting in a team environment.

Your tasks as Business Unit Manager (all genders)

• The main activities consist in expanding the relationship with new customers by focusing on project excellence, client management, and overseeing Manufacturing Engineering activities
• Developing operational procedures, manpower, material, deadlines, plans  
• Collaborate with various departments and teams to implement new projects with broader company goals, ensuring effective communication and coordination  
• Create comprehensive documentation for all aspects of the projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards  
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, gathering input and building relationships crucial for the projects’ success  
• Utilize project management best practices to oversee the program’s development from conception to launch, ensuring milestones are met efficiently and effectively 

Your profile

• You possess a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or related engineering field  
• You have 5+ years of experience in aviation in Project Development/ Implementation  
• You posses strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams and working independently with minimal direction 
• You are dedicated to meeting project goals, client satisfaction, staff development, and operational excellence  
• You demonstrate excellent German and English language skills, written and verbal Computer skills in Google Suite, SAP, Microsoft Office  
• You are enthusiastic about occasional domestic and international business travel
